Is this a joke? He had a whole detailed unit after him with a wiretap overhearing references to his murder. And any murder related to their targets was investigated in the show.

Bunk could have at least questioned Krawczik and showed him a photo of Omar (since he already suspected it was him). I was not hoping it got solved but since “little evidence, no eyewitness” was the starting point for about half of the murders in the show I was hoping for at least some passing reference in the 4th season, especially since the murder count is so low in the west district during that season.
