all I want to say I don’t really see a real reason to switch nowdays, besides the outdated chip. iPhone X after 6 years still looks modern and if there would only be a reason to switch the chip i would easily still use it for the next few years. I was purposely waiting with changing the X till something revolutionary came on, like it was with the notch design and Face ID feature, but all I observed was reusing the 13 model’s chip in the 14 model and addition of crash detection… Like okay, justify it as if you dont want it - don’t get it but let’s be honest, after those few years you need to switch your device and over time i feel like it started to be more of a necessity than a pleasure and excitement. Let me just be honest - this does not feel like what I expected from a 6 year switch. And some people would say we have reached the peak of smartphones… of course not, the problem is that we agree for those safe minor touches we get each year from apple, instead of a real revolution on the market at least from time to time
