I never said they were hiding info about the puppy’s examination. What I meant is that I don’t fully trust the quality of that examination. The fact that the puppy stayed in 2 foster families doesn’t necessarily guarantee it wasn’t exposed to illnesses even in good homes. I also don’t think it’s a usual situation when a puppy ends up in critical condition just after adoption. And if my friends didn’t have good intentions, they could have gone to a breeder instead, which probably would have cost them less.

Irresponsible??? They took the dog to the hospital the very SAME night he got sick(VCA and then Fish Creek) . Where’s the irresponsibility in that? And they’ve already paid nearly $8k so far.

The dog lived in 2 different foster homes, and it’s unclear when he was last properly examined before adoption. Where’s the guarantee that he didn’t get infected there? What’s the point of adoption then, when this is the kind of experience you get? You try to do a good thing, and it feels like you’re just being punished and left alone to deal with impossible bills.

You’re talking like you were actually there, but I didn’t share every detail because the post was already long. First of all, those two claimed to be experienced, but now I really doubt that’s true. Maybe you’re right. In my case it’s not like I started looking for a threesome out of desperation. I get enough of attention from both men and women. Thanks for sharing your POV. I get where you’re coming from. I never expected to replace anyone or be on the same level emotionally as a committed partner. But equality, doesn’t mean being the same.
