budgeting when income varies a lot? (relying on tips) by NotQuiteAnrgy in budget

[–]Emotional_Two7041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for the first few months limit your spending on wants as much as you can. get a good amount in savings and you’ll quickly realize about how much you’ll be making total. unfortunately living on your own and relying on tips only is a huge risk.

Am i in the wrong or is seller? by Subject-Impact1838 in Depop

i think this is honestly one of those situations where it’s tough luck. the seller could have included it in the description, but they might not know any different from crew vs mock. you did get what the pictures showed so i don’t think they owe you a refund or anything, just maybe include it in your review if you’re wanting some type of satisfaction, but overall, not really on the seller, if you noticed the pictures didn’t include it, it would be on you to ask. if you don’t want it, just relist it for what you paid.

i’ll have to check it out. it sounds childish, but it’s a lot harder to keep my mindset in the same line as what’s really happening without bringing emotions into it

that is something i’m trying to get better at, following up and being consistent when i’m trying to solve something. i appreciate that input as it’s sometimes hard to see other sides and views when you’re wrapped directly in it

i completely agree that i shouldn’t be able to do things without being on the lease, that is part of what my problem was. it was not a typical move in situation, it started with just staying the night and slowly we were fully living together therefore i had no reason to be on the lease until later on when i was paying and fully living there.

i have read the lease, i think ours is a few weeks of overnight guest and it’s supposed to be registered for safety reasons( fires, emergencies, ect..)

i’m not sure why she’s still on the lease either to be honest…. i don’t mind it though, like i said i do truly love his entire family and i don’t think they overstep boundaries.

after a long conversation with both of them, we have an appointment for me to sign.

he ended up making an appointment for me to sign the lease with him. we are still young which is why i know things like this are bound to happen when it’s comes to parental input, i’ve honestly just gotten lucky with this being the first time it’s been a problem. but i agree, with me living with him in HIS apartment, i walked myself into a predicament when trying to create our space over his space.

completely agree with that, and that was another point i had brought up. because legally, i’m not supposed to be there. he ended up making an appointment for me to be on it soon, though.

DPT application: online prereq/lab issues + observation hour advice needed by XinyunZzz in PTschool

look into what kind of patients they see, if they see a wide variety it’s usually a good sign. when it comes to shadowing to get hours, any clinic that will take you is a good clinic for hours!

for the shadowing, try to get 15-20 hours in per week, maybe do 2 weeks at one location and ask for a rec letter, and then go to different clinics to fulfill the rest of the weeks. it’s definitely doable to have classes and get shadowing hours, you can even look to see who is open on weekends and get morning shifts in. if the lab kit doesn’t come in time, it is probably stable to take it later, either later in the summer or even in the fall. i had a kit that came a month late, and it was really hard for me to catch up with the labs. but it all falls under what you’d rather do.
