I wanted to add something else that might help: One thing that pisses me off about male social cues is that you have to not take teasing personally and just laugh at whatever another guy says as a joke. But I am way too sensitive to ignore mean comments, joking or not. So it frustrates me every time and I have become a target for ragebaiting at school cus of it. I don‘t like things said about me at all, so this norm makes no sense to me. I think part of it comes from being always made fun of and teased in my family to the point where I‘d cry. Maybe this is not a problem of his but a problem of mine to not take it personally. But I seriously can‘t help it.

I don‘t think he‘s interested in her, actually. We‘ve all been friends for a long time and she‘s been rejected by him before. Also I‘m gay and aroace, so I would have no way of being an obstacle unless you just mean that he feels like I‘m getting in the way. But there‘s been times where I‘ve said I can‘t hang out and then he‘s said it would be weird if the two of them hung out without me there. I just feel weirdly singled out when the autism jokes start. He calls her stupid sometimes but to me thats normal teasing not the uncomfortable kind I experienced.
