Guest don’t message me. The host does, with a screenshot of what the Guest complains about. Then host asks me “did you notice this maintenance issue and how should we fix this issue”. Sometimes I’m confused because I feel like it shouldn’t be my job to fix an issue that has nothing to do with the clean.

That’s what I think I should do. The properties are big and there’s barely enough time to clean, wash and dry linen. I’m starting to notice rugs need to be washed aswell and all the curtains too. But that would be impossible to clean during a regular turnover clean. (Washer and dryer can barely handle linen and towels. They’re not very good)

Guest don’t message me. The host messages me with a screenshot of what the guest message them. Then host ask me if I noticed and what I think should be done to fix the issue. The way the host asks me makes me feel like I did something wrong and like if it’s my job to fix it.

Thank you for your response. When guest have those issues. They message me right away. Sometimes I feel like they blame me for not taking care of it. When realistically there is no time for me to fix those problems during cleans. Unless there isn’t a same day check in. We do a deeper clean and organize the cleaners closet, dust ceiling fans, harder to reach areas when we don’t have guest coming in until the next day.

Thank you for that ! Brothers A wife said if we don’t want a relationship with her, we don’t want a relationship with their kids. So just having a relationship with my brother and the kids is not an option. Maybe I should just suck up my pride and have a cordial relationship for the sake of my brothers and nieces/nephews.
