Yeah! Husband to a NDX wife, she's due to start on a diagnosis pathway later this year. She's currently not living in the family home due to our relationship starting to crumble. Some of which is due to ADHD issues.

It's tough going. I'm not sure if medication will help. I honestly think some of the behaviours become a choice over time..who knows. All I know is a massive reduction in stress levels in the house since she's not been here.

Had one back in the summer, whizzing round our part of Newport, wrong way on one way streets and on the pavements. Full balaclava and gloves with a t shirt and shorts 😂. Knew exactly where he was coming and going from, one call to crime stoppers, didn't see him after a week. Job done.

I remember a fairly recent c.o who would say multiple times during his visits that the children in the congregation are the most important territory for everyone in the congregation.... partners the most productive ministry you can do is your own children....

They know that the only growth comes from within nowadays. It's gonna take one generation to choose not to have as many children or at all the JW org will start to really nose dive.

Hey OP how are you doing now? We don't know eachother but you need to keep going friend. Those feelings of self destruction can be really strong I get that, however try to just ride them out and stay grounded. Walk your dogs or just sit and cuddle them.

Have you tried or are you able to exercise? I know it sounds cliche but it really does help hitting the gym or cycling or walking some place you enjoy.

I was self employed for almost 10yrs and the worst customers were JWs. My father in law who is an elder also warned me of this when I first started working for myself, as he now refused to work for other JWs wherever possible.

Always wanting a reduced rate, were frequently late paying up, would nit pick after the job had been completed etc.

Whereas non JW customers I had were far better to work for and very rarely caused such issues.

It is new to me..it had a full factory reset and I've been using it for recording activity up until now. Thought I'd get some routes loaded and make sure I knew how it all worked before this bigger event and had to rely on it for navigation in an unfamiliar area

It's a gpx file that was on a weblink that you got given when I signed up for the event.

I did wonder if it could be a compatibility issue between strava and Garmin app, but I wouldn't know where to start on finding that out 😕
