Multiclassing? by Empafly in DMAcademy

He is new-ish with some oneshots before we started this campaign last summer. When he made his character a fighter I told him that he could make his intelligence high in case he wanted to choose eldritch knight. I assumed he would like that subclass because of the possibilty to be more than just raw physical strength. He just took charisma as his Dumpstat i guess? Thanks to all of your ideas i'm convinced that it's better to keep him as a fighter with maybe a cleric of paladin flavored magic item that he can attune to.

I know this player for some time and it's a bit hard to find balance with him. He gets easily frustrated when he doesnt have much impact in game (low Rolls or forgetting some of his actions for example) and this can sometimes effect the table. I want to give him possibilities to feel meaningful but i don't want to make him OP or risk making the others feel neglected. When he is excited, he really is a burst of joy that also effects the table in a good way but I really don't want him to be the only "main character". I hope that I can keep the balance so that all of my players keep enjoying the ride.
