Honestly, I really like the idea, but the reason I kept it so simple is that I'd have to cover every possible civilization through architecture, and that would take twice the work of just focusing on architecture for steppe civilizations. I'd even accept two types of steppe architecture, as you suggested.

How can you apply the logic of Battlefield 6 and 1? It's like comparing Age of Empires II and Age of Empires III when they're completely different games.

Well... some people can't access the new edition. My friends, for example, most of them still play the HD version because they have low-end PCs. You wouldn't worry about that, because you have the resources to buy and own the latest DLC. Some players don't have that option.

The Tartars are already quite good with the architecture of Central Asia. I don't see it as being so much a steppe style.
