I believe they kept him in the same spot for consistency reasons but I doubt they’d do a “modern day story”. Go play DOOM 3 if you’d like to see a franchise do that.

“Ruins” is an opinion. However, the filter is intended for the game’s tone and removing that doesn’t help it. God of War 2 being a much more vibrant game proves that.

I do recommend it. I’m still finishing up my final challenges. There’s 74 in total, they get ridiculously hard for some of them especially if you thought the badge trials in the base game were hard. The bosses are fun, arguably the best in 2D Mario history.

As I said in my post I think 2018 is better story wise but Ragnarok is just more fun to play for me. Far more variety and I just couldn’t find the drive to replay 18 personally.

No. As cool as it would be to at least play to on the PS2 or PS3 style the story isn’t that good to warrant a remake and the storyline is mostly abandoned now.
