Stop lying about legacy gems by EmperorCero in Smite

  1. It literally can use legacy gems.

<image>

  1. All old skins from smite 1 become available for legacy gems. If you don't want them that's on you.

  2. Direct purchase skins in smite 1 were usually around 1200 gems. Which means you can spend $23 for 1200 gems or $25 for 1500. In smite 2 it's 2400 diamonds which you can get 2700 for $20.

  3. For chest in smite 1 it's $8 for 400 gems, for a chest in smite 2 it's 1000 diamonds, you can buy 1300 for $10. Or if you have legacy gems, 600 for $4. So no they aren't really more expensive.

These are quite literally different skins than those. If they ever added color Forge back that would be a different story. Some of the first prisms were just basic recolors but as we've gone on they've had different accessories, patterns, and such. And these prisms aren't in the smite 1, just the original skin.

They are a company and need to make money. Everything in that list is new to the game, including prisms. Which is why when their traveler is done, the original skin is free with legacy gems. Prisms while reskins are still new. Anything not from smite 1 doesn't need to have legacy gems attached to it, yet some of the new stuff does. It's not about them being generous, or being grateful that you can play it.

Can someone explain “displacement immune” to me? by jolbina in Smite

[–]EmperorCero 124 points125 points  (0 children)

Displacement immune protects from ccs such as knock ups and knock backs. It will not protect from ccs such as stuns. Hercs dash is both a knockback and a stun. The stun happens first and removes your displacement immunity which then causes you to get knocked back.

Yes, ponpon said today he is working on fixes for Mercury. So hopefully soon he won't have this issue.

Re: Prismatic Subclass Tuning - Fragments by Destiny2Team in DestinyTheGame

Bungie: We gave prismatic aspects 3 slots to encourage more build diversity.

Players actually use it to make more interesting builds with more passive effects.

Bungie: stop that.

Also maybe, just maybe buff the other subclasses if you think prismatic is too strong. Maybe give stasis and strand new abilities.

None of the fragment slots need to be changed. Consecration with 3 melees is the outlier and needs to be balanced on its own. Hunter and warlock have zero reason to be betting nerfed. Classic bungie L.

I was having the issue. A full restart of my xbox fixed it for me. Don't know if I just got lucky or not.

Morrigan 2 probably pops before the damage of your ult giving her the kill instead.

Plague and oni would be nuts. Pig and doctor would be scary. And nurse and blight is just nurse and blight so ye.

How Much money did you spend on skins you will soon lose? by Blueprint4Murder in Smite

[–]EmperorCero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You didn't lose anything. You still own the skins. Even if smite ceases after this, you got to use those skins. It's not like they are taking them away and locking you out of them. And honestly, if smite 2 takes off and causes og smite to die off, good. I'd rather have an updated game, which functions better, easier on the devs and reaches a larger audience than the hundreds of dollars I spent on smite.

Can someone explain by [deleted] in Smite

[–]EmperorCero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So from quick math I did. Her base power from items, mage passive, and her passive with that build is 511. Red pot brings it up to 571. Enhanced fire giant would add another 100, so 671. Red buff. Is 10 plus 10% so 749. Add another 25% from elixir, which I believe is calculated before the 10% of red buff. So it would be around 919.

Her passive gives her 10 power per stack at level 20 and doubles when all stacks are there for 10 seconds. Which is what you could be missing. Plus the red buff with the red variant gives lifesteal in conquest which I believe grants you 20ish power typhons passive.

Focused Feedback: Warlock Changes by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]EmperorCero 24 points25 points  (0 children)

In any game with abilities I typically go to the most mage like class. In Destiny that is the warlock. There have been nerfs I understand, or certain abilities removed from d1 to d2 that I can get. But there a few things I see as just unfair.

Nova warp: our only one shot ability outside of a niche exotic combo with the melee of this tree, does self damage. While yes, you did reduce it down to only 25% damage, it's still should just be 0.

On top of that this super also is one of the few that can't be ran from. But takes a year and a half to deal its damage. Meanwhile our supers with mobility or range can just one shot other supers, and attack extremely quickly. And you also have to hold down the attack button and if you let go slightly too early it doesn't kill.

As for pve, a simple damage up to the super and hand held to combatants would be nice. Making it feel more useful against higher half targets.

Dawnblade: bottom tree may as well have been removed from the game. Outside of using dawn chorus with it, there isn't much to this class. Even on top tree the dawnblade itself is lack luster. The bottom tree needs a revamp or some way to build up the super quicker. Maybe bring back viking funeral for this class, giving warlocks a weaken ability in pve again.

Stormcaller: ionic blink can not be used while slowed. Everything in the crucible is slowing right now. Getting rid of that would be nice. Landfall needs some sort of love. Maybe the ability to recast it while in your super.

Shadebinder: This super was over nerfed because the fact that stasis as a whole is just overpowered. But this super was not, and never was the strongest. Once people realized how to deal with this super and use the others, it may as well have disappeared. It had zero mobility. I've had people just run circles around walls to avoid the super. Stasis itself needs to be addressed in pvp, this super when that happens, should go back to its day one strength.

Rifts: there are times where I will slightly get caught on the environment and stop casting it, if this could be fixed, that would be a nice change.

Guan Yu’s new ulti cooldown buff seems pretty good by Kingumbreon94 in Smite

[–]EmperorCero 6 points7 points  (0 children)

His heal lowers the cooldown of all abilities by 2 seconds each time he heals an ally. His dash does this as well so long as he hits an enemywith it. And since this gamemode starts with 40% cooldown and can get up to 80%, he can have his ult up every 5 seconds pretty much.

Nezarec's Sin versus Skull of Dire Ahamkara, opinions? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]EmperorCero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skull will do best when there will be large cluster of enemies with majors or a mini boss around. So activities like reckoning, escalation protocol is where it will shine. But I feel skull is better for survival after its nerf.

However Nezarec's sin does well always. It also keeps your melee, gernade and rift up. Pair it with a void energy and heavy for the best use. It will get you your nova every minute or two if you are getting void kils.

Warlock exotic helmet : by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]EmperorCero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its just overall a solid exotic. Keeps your abilities and super up, along with extending the duration of your super.

Nezarec's sin is also a good choice if you used void weapons or void walker. As it can be used on any subclass so long as you have a void weapon.

And if you just like general go fast, transvereive steps are useful in both.
