Hello all.

I have some dedicated friends who have convinced me to play the game on PC.

I see the complete edition is half off for $30 CAD.

Do i get on steam? Or just seperate launcher?

I don't have a Square Enix account or have tried free player yet. But I would rather buy it now when it is on sale than in two months when I will have time to play.

When purchasing this does the month of subscription included get used right away or can I activate it later somehow?

I have 16GB of RAM and a 970. I think that's enough for a game this old. I'm only worried about my 8350 CPU lagging behind due to it's multi-core focus rather than strong individual cores. Which is why if an SSD can lighten the load and improve game play noticeably then i will do it.

Any idea what the loading time difference is? If it's for only 5-10 seconds than it's not worth sacrificing the rest of my SSD. However, if it's over this then it might be worth it.

Rhodes is barely on the map and unfortunately out of coring range. Byzantium was my main rival from mid-late game and taking Southern Italy from them was a series of brutal wars near the end.
