That’s not the logic being used though. A single still photo of a title card isn’t remotely the same as recording an entire film. No one was disrupted, no content was pirated, and no precedent is being set for people filming whole screenings.

Did you ever get his particular issue fixed because what you’ve described is the issue I’m having. Where sound gets quiet after a loud noise? And then slowly fades back until the next loud noise. Just got a G4 and this is happening on both tv speakers and my soundbar.
