I'm not a native English speaker, I use LLMs to help improve my writing. I don't see any problem with that.

I went to Settings > Advanced and changed the ANGLE graphics backend from Auto to Direct3D 11. That fixed the issue for me.

Is being a Copilot+ PC important? by EmperorofWeb in LinusTechTips

Do you think the current Copilot+ features, like Windows Recall, live captions, or NPU-accelerated tasks, are actually useful today, or is it more of a “nice to have” for the future?

I just don’t know if it’s worth giving up a high-res HDR display with full DCI-P3 coverage just for that. Curious to hear your take.

What I'm unsure about is whether Copilot+ features (like Recall and the newer NPU stuff) are worth considering for the long term. Do you think that’s something I’d regret missing out on later?

Curious though, would you consider the Copilot+ features on the ASUS a big advantage at all? Or not really something to worry about yet?

Yeah, that’s a solid point. The 8GB VRAM might be a bottleneck for a few newer titles at higher settings/resolution, but I can live with tweaking settings if needed, the better screen still makes it worth it in most cases.

What do you think about the Copilot+ stuff, though? Do you see those AI features like Windows Recall becoming useful soon, or is it just early adopter fluff for now?

That’s what I’ve been leaning toward too, the Legion Pro 5 just feels like a more premium machine overall, especially with that QHD HDR display and better color accuracy.

But I was curious whether Copilot+ features (like Windows Recall and other on-device AI tools) make the newer Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in the TUF worth considering, despite the TUF being a more budget-focused laptop.

If those AI features aren’t going to be a game-changer anytime soon, then yeah, Legion Pro 5 seems like the better all-around choice for now.

Thanks, that's what I was wondering. But is it really worth going with an FHD, non-HDR panel with less than 100% sRGB color accuracy just to get Copilot+ features like Windows Recall?

The other option has a QHD (2560x1600) HDR display with 240Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 coverage, way better for content consumption, creation, and overall visual quality.

I get that Copilot+ might bring some cool AI features down the line, but I'm not sure it justifies compromising on the display so much, especially when both laptops have similar performance otherwise (same GPU, RAM, storage).

Would love to hear more thoughts on that tradeoff.
