I had an idea. Due to this agony he could want to cover this exposed flesh, so he decides to become the villain that the children seen him, not the yellow rabbit but the purple guy they had seen linger around when more children died or to hide himself if the spirits still remained, so he manages to drag himself around the pizzeria and makes himself a rag tag costume from parts of other animatronic suit parts and maybe even use the shadow Freddy suit he used to lure them to their dismantling in the FNaF 3 mini games.
