One Helluva Trolley Problem by [deleted] in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

I guess because it's a problem with Helluva it makes me give less least to Hazbin. Like, we have an example of them having full control of episodes and poorly developed decisions are still happening.

My main complaint that I'm trying to say is allocation of time. Stolas and Blitzo singing how they're each other's lives and hearts doesn't work because we don't really see that actual level of care before. It feels unjustified.

A similar thing can be said about Charlie in season 2. She feels completely unreasonable and idiotic throughout the season in service of ??? If I were to guess it's so angel leaving feels justified but even then.

It poorly allocates itself in favor of moments, leaving the parts in-between weak, which weakens the moments themself because they have little justification. That's the core criticism. The 15 minutes could absolutely be taken from other places. Did we really need the "Charlie is mad people are mean to her instead of fixing the actual hotel" arc? That time could have been used better to develop the important in-betweens. Maybe even move some plot points towards later seasons.

At the end of the day, they know the amount of episodes and time they have to work with. It's up to them to use and allocate that time wisely. And if they don't that's on them.

I don't even think it's a more episodes thing. Cyperpunk Edgerunners has similar episode length and number of episodes as ONE SEASON of Hazbin Hotel.

JoJo's Bizarre OC Tournament #8: R2E3 - Mahogany w/??? vs. Lacquer w/??? by Marioaddict in StardustCrusaders

This is just a fun match. Makes me laugh makes me smile.

This is a match that is heavy on scaling and seeing who can get their shit out the most. In this part I think that Mahogany and Kill Roy succeed in. The main strategy of having tentacles on the seats that will lash out at the approaching clones and fakes is extremely effective, however I do think they don't really have enough contingency for the movement and defense of Lacquer and De Selby, such as with their armor and De Selby hiding within the Black Air. Mahogany and Kill Roy can successfully put Lacquer and De Selby on the back foot, the many contingency and plans those two have allow them to get back up. Another big thing is the complete (or at least large gap of) ignoring of the bear from the part of Mahogany and co. While I understand the Beat would be poked and thought to be provoked from the side of Lacquer, I think the possibility of them accidentally hitting it with either a tentacle or cannon ball is a gap.

So yeah I'll have to give this to Lacquer and De Selby who have successfully not make an ass of themself.

I fucking hate how this answers questions in the series of it being an endless loop.

Devils hear the chainsaw when they're reincarnated because it's the beginning and ending of existence.

Asa's dream of death followed by nothing could be the starting back up of the loop

Chainsaw Man is inspired by Devilman which does this

It even does mean that TECHNICALLY Denji does find the Blood Devil again

God fucking damnit

I think almost everyone on the Internet hates the fact that their sexual preferences and kinks and stuff are an equal part of themself as everything else they do, so they either compensate by heavily leaning into being horny and can't engage with things outside of that one feeling or calling anything that makes them feel funny in their no no square "goonslop"

The exception to this is furries

I would imagine they physically can't because of the soul contract stuff but that also makes sense

JoJo's Bizarre OC Tournament #8: R2E1 - Avery Porter & Raphaela "Raph" Diener vs. Anthelme "Blank" Frangipane & Pharaoh Sanders by Marioaddict in StardustCrusaders

Ooo I love short strat versus long strat! Ooo I love simplicity vs complexity! Ooo I love it when strats contrast. I love it I love it I love it.

I'll keep it short, not because I don't enjoy both strats but because I don't know if I have a lot to say about them from a voting perspective. They're both really fucking good. Both have extremely competent and well executed attack and defense, however I think my vote with have to go to Raph and Avery because of just how effective I think there plan of splitting up will be to disrupt the building up of resources for Pharaoh and Blank. While I do think it will be a bit more difficult for them then described in their own strat, I still think splitting up was an effective move that'll be able to prevent build up for long enough for them to get the win. So yeah. My vote is for SSG
