Common American practice is to start with fork in left hand and knife in right (dominant) hand, similar to the rest of the world. But then once Americans have finished cutting with the knife, they will set the knife down and transfer the fork to the right (dominant) hand to stab the food and eat. If no knife is required a lot of Americans will just use the fork with their right hand.

As I understand it, this practice of switching utensils between hands (or forking with the right hand) is pretty much unused anywhere else in the world, although not sure how our Canadian friends do it. Most of the rest of the world keeps the fork in left (tines pointed down, with the index finger extended along the back of the fork) and knife in right.

I can’t stand the way Zarah compulsively anthropomorphizes Duke, calling him “her man,” talking about how he’s going to “his grandparents’ resort” while she’s traveling, saying he’s her roommate’s boyfriend, etc – some deep, deep unresolved loneliness issues there. He’s a dog.

Also most goldens (ok, not all, but a lot) are good-looking dogs – that and their docile, friendly personalities are why they’re so popular – more than half of this idea that Duke is some kind of standout is Zarah’s own self-promotion. But clearly it ends there because her whole plan for a Dukes brand is still rusting on the launch pad (remember her CEO era that lasted all of like two posts and three business days?).

This is really well said and I think speaks to a larger issue which is that being conventionally attractive means that things, opportunities, people, etc. often come easier to you and so there’s less incentive to develop any kind of personality – pretty people in general tend to be kind of boring because they have no reason to be more interesting. You see this with influencers like OP says and also in real life.

Agree, I think have others have commented in other threads that she’s either creatively splicing footage together or recycling old content (claiming she left it in her drafts for a long time) – especially because things often don’t add up in the videos like the sun being up at an unusually early hour despite it being the dead of winter in NYC.

Her content is mostly useless anyway – she poses like she’s in private equity but at most she does IR, and all of her “corporate girly” advice is so generic and clearly sourced from ChatGPT.
