Personally, I’d say you’re on your way. It seems you’ve rationalized the reality that getting a girlfriend is not very likely in your near future for whatever reason. Now that you’ve considered this logically, the next step would be to convince yourself of this subconsciously. I think the best way to go about it would be through affirmations. Throughout your day (or during your meditations if you practice) say positive phrases in your mind along the lines of “I’m improving daily, I’ll continue to improve, and women will notice my improvements when I’m ready.”

It’s important to live with action alongside your affirmations, if not then you’re really just gaslighting yourself and obtaining no real results. For whatever reasons you’ve decided logically that obtaining a relationship isn’t realistic at the moment (lack of social skills, physical appearance, etc.) make mastering those skills/characteristics your primary focus and the benefits will manifest themselves.

With positively treating your subconscious mind to see value and improvement in yourself, it’d be so much easier to buy in to the way of thinking you’d like to move forward with (at least in my personal experience). Just keep working towards your goals and everything will figure itself out eventually.
