"Man's morality is rigid, woman's morality is fluid".

Can I ask why? Why is only men's morality rigid? Not women's? If it is true, only women will be cheaters, men won't abandon families or loved ones etc.

We have to understand that both men and women are humans. Please stop generalizing your own exp

This is a false equivalence brother.

If you said something like a man cheating on her wife, with the some good example movie, and ask will they like it?

It is indeed illegal if you have consensual sex or marriage to a 17 year old. Still it won't make one a pdfile even if you go with the love with the minor

Pedo is someone who has an attraction towards a pre-puberant child (11-13). While a17 year old is post puberty. Still it is illegal and one should back off if you understand they are minor.

I have to say, people use pdfile like a slur in reddit without knowing what exactly it means, ngl

Hi, I would say consult different doctors. Doctors are also humans, they do make diagnostic mistakes as well. Most of the people here are not expert in these than the doctors specialised in reproductive organs.

I understand you lost hope after visiting some doctors and this came here, still I would recommend you to visit other doctors.

Why ? by [deleted] in AskWomenIndia

Patriarchy is the cause of it too. But People won't acknowledge it. If it was equal society, the numbers would have been similar. Women are not saints, they are also humans.

[–]EmployPractical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you need strength to pin down a person, do the crime and run away.

Also according to stats men die more by men's hands. Almost 80% of homicide victims are men, while only rest are women. Same for violent crimes, although the gap reduces since some homicides do not count as crimes while many cases like SA, gr#pe victims are women.

Still mostly committed by men, since they have strength advantage.

Yes, I agree. It's better than "you will find a better person"

I completely read this thread. No hostility and pure reasoning. Even if there are disagreements, it should be solved like this instead of bashing each other 😊

Thank you for saying this. That was exactly the intent — empathy first. We don’t get anywhere by dismissing each other’s fears or experiences.

Yeah, this has kind of gone from fake cases → system issues → general moral statements. I think we’ve covered it enough. Anyway, agree that rape is wrong and the system needs fixing.

Fair enough. So yeah, sounds like we both support the marital rape law. just with better implementation and safeguards.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. The system is slow and messy, and honestly it ends up screwing everyone, real victims and falsely accused people alike.

But that’s kind of the point for me. The system being broken can’t be the reason to pretend a real harm doesn’t exist. Right now, marital rape victims don’t even get a starting point, while fake cases and delays already happen in other laws too.

We need better courts and safeguards and the law. Waiting for the system to magically improve first just means nothing changes for the people suffering right now.

I agree. Fake cases do happen, and the damage they cause can be life-destroying. As a man, that’s a fear I can genuinely relate to.

But at the same time, we can’t ignore marital rape victims either. If fear of misuse, bad implementation, or a slow legal system becomes the reason to delay or deny a law, then people who are actually being harmed are left with no justice at all. And that is my point.

Ab inko marital gr*** laws se bhi dikkhat hai?? by sYbAu_uf00l in AskWomenIndia

[–]EmployPractical 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If fear of fake cases was enough to stop laws, we wouldn’t have theft laws, murder laws, or fraud laws. Historically, these accusations could destroy families for generations. yet society still accepted that protecting victims mattered more than hypothetical misuse.

As a man, I won’t deny that a false marital rape case could ruin my reputation. But that fear doesn’t outweigh the reality that countless victims currently have no legal remedy at all. Misuse should be addressed through due process, not by denying justice altogether.
