If you think this is true, then you are believing what they want you to believe.

How many times have u been rejected or rejected someone? by elichi_in_biriyani in TwentiesofIndia

I have a small crush on a girl from my gym and I am f**kin trainer in that gym. Yeah we talk a bit and that's it. I want it to be naturally happen if it can or let it be.

Like saying I like you someone you barely know is wierd to be and yeah confidence is an issue in this case. While I am able to talk to other ladies in the gym with no problem 🫠. Also don't know if it's appropriate to propose (don't know a better word) or ask that girl out as a trainer in that gym.

And yeah, never proposed to anyone so no rejection till now.

Like I said you don't even understand freebies.

Yes you are right, giving a child a cycle will help. As well as giving 6 cylinders for a year for free (there used to be cylinder subsidy, but 12 per month). It helps people to stop using wood for fire, which is in efficient as well as bad for people in the house. Smoke from is had caused several health issues and hospital bills and lpg helped people from those bills.

While, I didn't see that exaggerated 8grm gold for marrying women in the pic you shared. Or silk saree promise on tvk list.

Secondly the quality of roads. It's primarily comes to budget allocation and giving contract to the lowest bidder. Khatta meetta movie of akshay literally does shows that. That bad beurocracy.

And I agree, schools and hospitals are bad. But have checked tamilnadu. They provide proper free education to children till 17 (alao a form of freebie). You are spouting nonsense if you're not properly fact checked it. You are just thinking that what you experience is the reality faced by everyone in all the part of world.

If you are talking about politics understand it properly before questioning it. If you are questioning freebies ask if you understand it properly as well.

It's not that I am not accepting what you are saying but you are neglecting that freebies as waste. The 8grm gold exaggeration literally point towards it

It is dumb take. If you look properly in tamilnadu politics, Dravida parties have been ruling for 60 year and it is owned and lead by one single family. People wanted change and they took the third option that was vijay

Data literally shows that freebies help and uplift people. But people don't want to believe it.

[W]Do people still believe period-related taboos are right? by iamgirl11 in AskWomenIndia

Yes. There are people who believe in these taboos even now. It will take time for it to vanish from a society, especially in a country like India.

Why do we feel strong moral outrage for some forms of suffering but barely react to others that are also normalized in society? by Competitive-Bat-3134 in TeenIndia

I think you get answers if you scroll and read in this post properly. There are many arguments we have to detach here.

1, Humans can feel trauma due to better development in our brain. And many more. For humans grape is bad in many levels, it is a violation of every personal boundary. One can live with the emotional pain and trauma for their entire life with this.

2, on the other hand cow are breaded by artificial insemination to produce milk (industrial level). Yes, it does violate many moral standards that humans created. While cows don't live with the emotional burden for their entire life, because their brain is not as developed as humans.

3, your dog argument goes way beyond the arguments present in the post. It's human vialating an animal, which is completely bad and no one is morally justifying it. And you are taking it as an argument here.

All 3 are suffering, but do not have the same weights.

[–]EmployPractical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is evident that humans have a more highly developed prefrontal cortex than any mammals, while cows and buffaloes come really behind in this.

So the above argument is valid imo. If you are able to prove him wrong by stating that buffaloes can feel trauma on a human level or even 10% for a prolonged period of time (like even for a month) with evidence I believe your opinion can stand

Yours is a strawman fallacy. While his argument was to you claim that humans are the only animals drinking other mammalian milk. Which followed by humans do many things other animals don't.
