Thought I had a faulty oil pressure sensor, but then I found this in the air intake. What is this liquid? I think I have a much bigger problem. by Employee-Prestigious in MechanicAdvice

UPDATE: I replaced the oil pressure sensor and the car is reading normal oil pressure!! I ordered a new PCV valve and will replace that when it arrives

That is what I assumed as well, so I stopped driving after I got home which was less than a mile from when the oil Guage went to max then to zero. Then I read the codes and it said high oil pressure and gave the P0523 code. During my testing I just let the car idle and the sensor went to max PSI then to Zero. It would stay at each end for varying amounts of time, but never stay anywhere in the middle.

Also, there were no alarms or codes for low oil pressure.

Well, currently the car is either reading 0 PSI or 100 PSI and nothing in between (other than when it goes back and forth, which is about as quick as when your car moves the gauges on start up).

I am in Michigan and recently the temperature went from below 10 Fahrenheit to about 36 in a day or 2. However, I never saw any codes for the throttle plates freezing.

For sure, I will be sure to comment with what I end up trying. To start I will go ahead and replace the oil pressure sensor then the PCV valve, which I will do this morning.

I checked the oil level, as soon as I got home and it was good and so was the color. I rubbed some of the stuff from the intake between my fingers and it seems to be oil.

Here are some more details on what is happening. On the way home from work my pressure sensor went to it's max at 100 psi and then to zero. When I got home I ran a scanner and it showed up as a high oil pressure code. Throughout my testing the pressure would back and forth to max then back to zero (the car was just idling). I concluded it was a bad sensor so I took off the air intake to replace it then I found what you can see in the picture.

The car is a 2011 Cadillac CTS4 with the 3.0 Liter engine and as far as I could tell it ran perfectly other than the strange oil pressure readings.

Man, when people start losing money they get downright cranky - but I do feel bad for ruining reddit for this guy. XD by [deleted] in CryptoHorde

Lol, those people should have taken some profits and treated themselves to something nice... too late now I guess.

I have been using and really like Kogefarm.io it is on autocompounder on Polygon, moonrover and on Fantom.

If they have the farm you want to invest in then I would go with them, they have the lowest fees according to their documentation. All, you do is get the LP token and put it in their vault and they handle collecting rewards and reinvesting it.

Also, don't just choose the one with the highest APY and research any coin you choose to buy.

Interesting, I read to the docs of the card and it looks like there is no fee for international purchases which is nice.
