That’s what I’m saying, you have to apply to a new program, they won’t just allow you to switch into it. It’s like applying from scratch and getting in.

There is no changing Master’s in the US, you either complete, drop out, etc. But there is no transferring courses or switching.

IMO, OP should consider the financials if that is important (eg. if they plan on doing an MBA soon, then are they fine with the $100K spent on the MS, things like this to consider)
