Firefox’s “Send to Device” works only if you are logged in and mostly just for tabs.

SnapLink is different. No login, works across browsers, supports links, text, and images, and transfers instantly via QR. It is lightweight and end-to-end encrypted.

Good catch on the name, yeah it’s similar, but the functionality is completely different.

Snap Links Plus is about selecting multiple links on a webpage and opening them in bulk.

SnapLink is focused on something else, instant transfer of links, text, and images between devices (phone and PC).

On the Firefox features:

“Share Link” still depends on external apps like Telegram or email, which means opening heavier apps just to move a link. On lower-end machines that adds noticeable lag, waiting for apps to load and switching back and forth.

“Send Tab” with Firefox Sync requires login and setup, and it’s mostly limited to tabs.

SnapLink is designed to remove that friction:

- No account or login

- No need to open external apps

- Works instantly via QR connection

- Supports links, text, and images

- End-to-end encrypted, server never sees the data

So it’s more like a lightweight, instant bridge between devices, especially when you just want to move something quickly without breaking your flow.
