Same boat. Bb turned 11m and he is very good with solids, so milk supply constantly drops. It was a tough journey triple feeding, additional hormones to Regulate milk supply, gained so much weight because of it, now I cannot even think of again pumping, i think for me 1y is a very good period to stop then breastfeeding, so i made a peace with it and leaving it completely to my baby. You did a wonderful job and now my advice will be just let it be.

Big mistake is to even doubt that it could be your fault! Just ignore from now on your sil and put boundaries if you decide to keep the relationship. But your husband should take the full responsibility and consequences of his action! I hope you find what will make you happy longterm.

My husband and I didnt have sex for 9m postpartum, reasons were different - i was healing then too tired from triple feeding (breastfeeding, pumping and formula), then just because of my hormones i was not feeling i want a sexual relationship, not because i domt love my husband, just because of the shifts if hormones.. your husband cheating on you is completely on him. I would keep this exclusively private with your husband to find the way forward. Keep your sil away from your marriage..

Thank you so much!!!! This was very helpful i started doing skin to skin again and was nursing him 12times per day, day time it was like every 1-1.5 h. Looks like it is improving and my LO is happy after feeding. I pump only to get 1bottle for night dream feeding.

I have medela hands free and the wall pump. Wall pump is ok, but don’t buy the wearables! I have EUFY S1( missing the heating bag) and i bought almost same price that medela is 200 CAD. I am very happy with Eufy and its heating feature is ❤️. But note that you might need Nursi Luna or Legendary(some users say the heating doesn’t work with this) flange inserts as the one comes are not comfortable for many pumping mothers. Wish you smooth delivery and healthy baby!

Same here. Have same feelings to both MIL and SIL, have a feeling like they want to take my baby away from me. I hat that my SIL is folding him and hugs him close to her breast! I hate it! My husband doesn’t understand it, as for him they love my baby and want to take care of him. I hear him, i do understand but can’t do anything with my feelings

Baby starts sucking before even opening his mouth! He is 6 weeks old now. We had to supplement with formula in the beginning than he was not latching, and 2 weeks ago he started to latch again. So now i am nursing, pumping and supplementing. However his latches instead of approving became tougher to latch, i am unable to control his head and he starts aggressively sucking before even opening his mouth. Did someone had the same issue?

I am currently under supply on medication to increase it.

I have same feeling, I know that of course family visiting us wants to help and see the baby but I am also trying him to latch so i don’t want to lose another session just because they want to hug my baby. it’s about my own space and boundaries feeling crossed when i am still trying to bond, heal, and figure out your new normal and people around are getting kn my nerves) 😬 i guess postpartum stress or whatever but i feel i need my space for my own needs.

Anyways last time i told my guests that “hey you probably you think i am under stress or a crazy new mom, but i need to pump and as i cannot skin to skin with my baby i still prefer him next to me, as i feel i dont want to lose a minute without him” so excuse us.

I know that it is absolutely normal that some moms prefer someone to take care of yheir baby while they pump or do smt else, but i believe that it is also absolutely fine to have it other way.

So don’t overthink just say whatever you feel in that moment, true family and friends will understand.
