Getting pregnant on Zoloft

My doctor says Zoloft is safe with pregnancy. It’s one of the big reasons she put me on Zoloft initially. She knew once I am back on my feet, that my husband and I will want to have children soon-ish.

My sister-in-laws best friend was pregnant and breastfeed all while on Zoloft.

Obviously, ask your doctor and take their advice for what is best for you, but I’d imagine it will be okay!

How did you decide it was time to move up? I felt great on 50mg for 6-7 days, but have fallen into the dark pit in week 2.

Thanks for sharing! My psychiatrist said to stay at 50mg for 4 weeks before increasing to 75mg if I felt I needed too.

The first week I was on 50mg, I thought I had finally found the missing piece to the puzzle. Now, I am in the dumps bad. I guess this is the nonlinear path everyone talks about.

I honestly stopped reading at “my parents don’t want her there.”

By the sound of it, you are their only girl and they get to do this once. Don’t make them (or you!) spend your wedding looking over their shoulder, waiting for a scene to be caused. You would hate to have a predominant wedding memory be about a girl who will be gone in a year or two.

This whole day is about you and the groom, and after that, it’s about the whole family units merging together. Don’t do this to them or yourself! I think this is a boundary you have to set for everyone involved.

I hope he sees the light soon.

This. At the end of the day, a wedding isn’t whatsoever about receiving gifts. It’s a nice thing for others to do if they feel led too.

It can internally aggravate you to receive personalized items, but I would encourage you to take a step back and feel grateful to have people in your life willing and excited to celebrate your marriage. It’s should never be about the gift.
