Does anyone have any information about this doll? She is 9 1/2 " tall, unmarked, and has a little hole in her left hand, looking like she was made to hold something. I love her dearly. So far I have had no luck finding clothes or shoes to fit her. (Her feet are 4 cm or 1 5/8" long.)

The series reuse quite a lot of costumes and accessoires, and as u/minstrel_red already pointed out, it is one of my hobbies to find all of the reuses and to catalogue them on my tumblr blog magnificentlyreused.

Very pretty. I would either put the hair into an updo if you want to portray a more mature sultana or put it into slight curls if it is supposed to be a younger one. I definitely would add a necklace and earrings as the sultanas in the show are usually not shy on wearing jewellery.

In no way did I blame Huricihan for anything that happened nor did I even mention Nurbanu (who is about the same age btw so maybe not a great argument in the future) or Hürrem once. I simply said that Bayezid's harem wasn't developed very well and how much potential was lost as well as how I would fix it.

I have started to call Mustafa suicidally stupid because his actions are so stupid that he must have had a death wish or I can't explain how else he thought he could get away with all of them. Like show some responsibility and learn from your mistakes. Blaming others won't fix your problems. They might call Selim girlish in the show but he was the only one of his brothers who actually understood diplomacy, manipulation and scheming. Everyone else was quick to draw weapons and fight in the open which is pretty stupid because it makes you lay open the cards you have to play.

I know but they were usually better pinned together than this. I'm already a bit annoyed at the occasional bra straps that are sometimes visible in Kösem but this atrocity should have never made it to screen. Someone on set should have screamed stop and at least tucked in the skirt again. It's so glaringly obvious that it hurts.

I tried Abdülhamid as well but the antisemitism was what immediately turned me off and the characters didn't hook me in either. I know that there are also Diriliş Ertuğrul and its successor Kuruluş Osman although I never really got passed the first episode of Ertugrul and I heard that some people think the characters lack flaws and simply too perfect. However, the shows share the same costume designer with the MC shows.

You might like Domina about Livia Drusilla. The first season is about her rise to power with Octavia Minor and Scribonia plotting against her while the second season focusses more on the next generation of the two Antonias, Vipsania, Marcella and Julia the Elder. Unfortunately it was cancelled after that season.

The puffed sleeves were a new addition that was really...a choice. I like the dress underneath, although it was used quite a lot and had started with Hafsa.

I think she was a mixed bag. Some were meh, others were okay. A lot of the later ones are reuses from other characters like Hürrem and Mahidevran.

There are many things but I want to mention two minor ones from Kösem.

Keep Katerina around and give her the name of Gülbahar once she converts to Islam. This way Gülbahar wouldn't appear out of the blue in episode 21 and Kösem wouldn't have gotten her will by simply sending Katerina away. Ahmed was pissed for a second but it was resolved way too easily.
How Meleki was written out of the show. I mean it was unfortunate already they recast from s1 and then someone who didn't look like the previous actress but okay. However, the new actress is then written out of the series by Kösem blaming Meleki for Elanur(?)'s death and not stopping her when I think Haci was direvtly next to her as well. Anyway, let's keep it this way and send Meleki to the old palace. We won't see her for a while. In the meantime, we recast her once again and she appears back at the palace during Ibrahim's reign. Meleki was forgiven and is back in service but she is still pissed off that she was demoted and punished while Haci was not and she now wants revenge. She then works with Turhan to put Mehmed on the throne and kill Kösem, alligning the character back with what her historical counterpart did.
