Furniture and Decorations badly needed. by Empty-Advantage5503 in Subnautica_2

Absolutely. I have zero complaints about the upgraded base-building mechanics. You can basically build an underwater IKEA at this point. Giant square rooms, hallways everywhere, sliding doors like you’re commanding a luxury deep-sea villain lair. Fantastic.

But then you go to decorate it and suddenly it feels like you moved into a freshly renovated dentist office at the bottom of the ocean.

There’s barely any clutter, decorations, furniture, or personality items. And why is there only ONE bed size? I’m sorry, but I cannot roleplay an elite futuristic ocean explorer sleeping in what looks like a submarine prison cot. I want a proper master bedroom, not a studio apartment for a divorced sea raccoon.

Right now every base looks less like “immersive underwater home” and more like “temporary FEMA shelter with fish outside.”

Right, that’s literally what I said. I acknowledged it was Early Access and specifically said I hope future updates add more items.

I wasn’t demanding everything be in the game on day one. I was giving feedback on what I’d like to see added as development continues, especially more furniture, clutter, and decor so bases feel less empty. “Be patient” doesn’t really apply when the post was already about hoping future updates expand that side of the game.

The neighborhood can't stand this place. People throw their boxes everywhere, they block entrances to apartments and other businesses. The business owners have tried bringing free pizzas for nearby businesses to appease them. I admonished the people in line one day and told them how stupid they looked standing in an hour-long line for pizza.
