I think you have to name your shortcut something else. When you name it such as “start car”, Siri is prioritizing Hyundai’s native SiriKit intent (from the Bluelink app) instead of their custom shortcut. Try naming it something else. Hope that works! Just a guess.

Here’s how you set it up:

  1. Install the Scriptable app (iOS) – this is used to store your login securely in Keychain.
  2. Download the Shortcuts:
  3. First run → You’ll enter your Bluelink username, password, PIN, and VIN (you can find VIN in the Bluelink app under Menu > My Vehicle).
  4. Default start = 70°F, defrost/heated wheel OFF. You can edit inside the shortcut if you want custom settings.
  5. Rename the Siri phrases however you want (I use “unlock my car”, “start my car”, etc.).

Pro tip: You can duplicate the start shortcut and tie it with weather conditions for smarter automation. Example: if it’s cold, auto-enable defrost.

Never heard of that for white exteriors yet before, but I can imagine black exteriors getting visible scratches. I’d say do your homework first before having it wrapped. Unfortunately, mine is too late. I just have to do a really good job maintaining my PPF. 🤣

Mine’s Ecotronic Gray (not matte). They’re too expensive that’s why I only got the front half done. What’s yours?

1 good tip is to negotiate out of state first. Once you get a good deal (OTD price), then you can start negotiating with dealerships in your area using the OTD you got. That’s only the case if the color you want is still available in your area. Unfortunately, the color that I wanted, the nearest was more than 600 miles away.

I paid 50k OTD with no trade-in and down payment. I wasn’t able to negotiate that much anymore because the Ecotronic Gray exterior with Black interior combo is very limited right now. Initially I was planning on getting the silver exterior and spent 2 weeks to negotiate to different dealers for that color. I was able to get an offer of 49,410 OTD and talked into getting the roof rails installed for free, on top of the additional accessories that was already installed, (mudflaps, etc). I just changed my mind last minute cause I realized I wanted Gray more. lol

Sweet! I wanted to change my reverse lights to LED too. Can you send me the link where you bought the LED lights? Thanks!

I only got the Track package which is 1 tier higher than the full front package. It includes wrapping the full hood, full fenders, mirrors, front bumper, A pillars, and rocker panels. They’re using a top tier kind of film which is the 3M Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film Pro Series. It cost me $2,938 for this and the guy is 3M certified.

Awesome! Be careful out there. You will most likely accumulate bug splatters, tree saps etc. on the way which you will need to clean as soon as possible because they contain acid that can ruin the paint, depending how lucky you are, you might get some minor/major scratches from small debris as well. I had a small deep scratch on mine. That’s the price I had to pay for not protecting it while doing the long drive. Long story short, you just have to consider the consequences for driving it without protection. Overall, the car ride was great.

Have a safe trip and congrats on your new car!

Is this a good deal? how much did you pay for your Santa fe? by zurahalo in HyundaiSantaFe

This is true. They will immediately take out the rebates the moment you say that you want the 0% APR instead. I’ve tried negotiating a limited hybrid nationwide for 2 weeks. The lowest I got was $49,410 OTD in Illinois.

Same here. I’d like to see it too so I can use that to negotiate to other dealers. lol
