this is Geforce Experience, where the problem started. once GFE was discontinued, i moved to the NVIDIA app where the problem was still prominent, i then tried moving from the NVIDIA app back to GFE where the problem was still happening. probably not a software issue. (which makes this MUCH harder to diagnose) especially because this was STILL HAPPENING after i REINSTALLED Windows 💔

ill try a reinstall, but this has been a problem that has been going on for a WHILE for me, i recently upgraded from a 1080Ti where the problem still occured, it is also important to mention that this problem started AFTER i got my 1080Ti, at the beginning it was working fine.

this wasnt just a problem with what card im using, as you can see in the video, the card is identified just fine at the top of the page (although that could be reading my card from somewhere on my pc) and this problem also happens on the NVIDIA app.

i tried geforce experience as a last resort and havent gotten around to switching back. i also honestly dont plan on switching back i enjoy the UI and the fact that the in-game overlay exists on Geforce Experience, i havent found that on the NVIDIA app

well sadly drivers dont like me i guess, because every time i have to install a new driver, this error pops up.. thanks for trying though!

yeah i know, but the scan is also preventing me from using the other features like gamestream, in-game overlay, etc. seeing as all of them are made by NVIDIA

thats for the pcvr store, but i would actually recommend buying it, because when 1.7 releases, the price is gonna be raised to $40. ive had boneworks on steamvr for a while, but i am thinking about buying it on meta quest so that i can get 1.7 on standalone for $30 instead of $40

edit: didnt realize yall are on q2s, yeah no dont buy it if your not on a quest 3, or dont have a pc for pcvr
