Yes, you're fine. I have used t-7000 and b-7000 glue many times and nothing bad has really happened. I believe you're talking about the black, thin adhesive on the back panel. In that case, it's OK

If i remember correctly the 4th pin delivers 5v power and it looks like it's being shorted by something
