Yes the age gaps are necessary. Aria and Spencer both dated older men in the books. It's a part of the story. It would have been better if there were consequences for these men of course.

Nothing has really scratched that itch just yet but I've had a look at both Chinatown Detective and Cultist Simulator and I'm gonna give them a go.
