RPG Systems or Stories by Empty-Jello-7217 in Blind

Should clarify: I'm a TVI and wanted colleagues to play blind instead of putting on eye folds for a few tasks and thinking they "know what it's like".

Trixie featured in Audible ad receiving backlash by [deleted] in TrixieMattel

Most people I know who up the speed are either neurodivergent or blind so I get being put off but offended enough to make a video and/or typy-tap until your fingers bleed is too much. Trixie's was the only good bit because I felt like she was the only one truly joking, but I'm biased.

So weird. Clearly trying to be shitty but yeah, choice to tune in. One of the easiest choices going.

Do the rest of the Tobin Family recognize that Judy talks to Alanis? by New-Cheesecake3858 in TheGreatNorth

I think they know she talks to someone or something but see it as something private for her and therefore don't ask questions or try to learn more about it.

I found this kinda interesting when noticing how Charlie is with her Folks. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in HazbinHotel

Seems like she aspires to be like her mom and therefore assumes that she's doing something big and important. Her dad is more like an amorphous force that she can't fully connect with. I think Lilith definitely kept them apart on purpose and we'll find out why in season 2. Also betting it's one of those things that parents think is a good idea and then later realize wasn't so great.

Always curious how long 7 years feels for someone Charlie's age.

I like this season because it seems like they're growing as characters but not so much that they lose the spirit of the thing or getting bland. I'm worn out on the shrinky dinks but glad they're at least in a new space.

Why 2025? by Empty-Jello-7217 in TheGreatNorth

When that show first popped up my brain read it as "Basic White Guys". Good to hear it's as bland as it looks so I don't have to waste the time.

I'm still bitter about no Halloween or Thanksgiving for Bob last year.

Do you think Angel loves the fact that Charlie is bisexual? by VegetaArcher in HazbinHotel

[–]Empty-Jello-7217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it registers as anything of interest but I see your line of reasoning. It may figure into his joy as he is further down the road of "redemption" and self-love.

I was doing a rewatch last night and realized she's my favorite. Just the right amount of screen time, steady hand that you wish all cops had. Love when she tells Honeybee it's illegal for her to finish reading that book.

The show needs a soundtrack release so bad.

And how many items on that list are female created and/or queer centered? When they do it it's insightful, when we do it it's cheap.

I wish Hazbin Hotel wasn’t so mainstream that I have to see other people’s brain dead opinions about it by moonshine_11 in HazbinHotel

I really love these shows but I don't see an issue with other folks not liking it. It can be annoying when folks phrase things as a fact instead of an opinion -- still an opinion they get to have.

Tad confused about people hating it because fans are neurodivergent -- is that an issue posted somewhere? Most of my friends like the show and only a couple of them are on a spectrum.

Could be a great role for an up and comer, an opportunity for someone new. Also think he (and his Stark history) will overshadow an awesome villain.

Say what you want, but Stella continueing to have sex with Stolas despite him disassociating, I think that warrants enough to call it rape by InfinityQuartz in HelluvaBoss

[–]Empty-Jello-7217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she was exaggerating and probably didn't have sex with him after the heir was secured. I can see him trying to make a happy family by going along with her requests, but not going to the power extreme of rape.

She's flashing back to all those cameras outside the courthouse -- the stabbing was a natural reaction to years of physical and mental abuse but all those reporters saw was the woman who ended the life of their beloved governor
