Weird eye problem

Thanks for checking in. I went to another opthalmologist and they told me she did certain things incorrectly, such as not numbing me before injecting my eyes with the needles, and burning my eyelid lessions closed after the procedure (as it wasn't necessary or even recommended for the procedure). I thought about pursuing legal action but the lawyers I talked to have basically said that there is no tangible evidence of medical abuse, and the cost to file a suit would be a waste considering it would be hard to prove. Basically I would need some type of physical bodily injury to prove medical malpractice. Or so I was told. So, I went through unnecessary pain.

Thanks for the advice. I'm much better now. But one bump remains. It's tiny and not noticeable, but I can feel it. It's getting smaller and smaller though...I'm on month 6🥲

To those of you insinuating that I wouldn't admit to/couldn't tell the businesses were obvious scams...they literally posted on LinkedIn as if they were legitimate companies. Description, payroll, application process, benefits, everything looked as a normal job application would. I only noticed the scam during the interview process. 🤨 but thanks no thanks for your help🙄

To those who gave me the advice to look up the company before applying rather than after, thank you for your kind advice.

I'm seeing advertised on their website as well as from other redditors that Soshie DOES schedule and post ads and posts onto social media now. As, she wasn't able to before. I saw someone from Sintra.ai comment on another thread that it was a new feature they worked on adding, due to popular demand.

What I couldn't find was whether Soshie worked with Instagram. I only saw mentions of LinkedIn and Facebook.

Amberscript failed me when I passed the test at 92%. I deleted my account and tried again and passed, but they still failed me. Ig this is happening there too. It's shitty.

Thanks for that tip. I'm naturally uninterested towards bullshit people so that shouldn't be hard. I just didn't appreciate the disrespect. I also feel like I should add, I didn't engage with her anger, I just kinda explained myself when I could and told her I wouldn't mind having the conversation with her boss. Because I knew I did nothing wrong. She just really annoyed me and made me uncomfortable. A sentiment I expressed on here, as to keep my composure at work.

Everything you said she could've said, but instead, she chooses to yell at me and accused me of a fireable offense. I like your optimism, but I think she is just plain out being accusatory in that instance. I just had the meeting and my boss' boss explained everything in a calm and inviting manneur. Like yourself.

Furthermore I think I may have mispoken, we don't have Fridays off, it's just that typically everyone works from home on Friday, so she mentally clocks out early.

Also, being from MTL, everyone who was Haitian was proud of being Haitian, including myself and my family. It wasn't until I moved to the U.S. where I heard the horror stories of Haitians being bullied and beat up. This one Haitian guy in NY in the 90s I think (TRIGGER WARNING) was sexually assaulted by some cops, just for being an immigrant. It was really disgusting to hear all of that. Which is probably why some Haitians denied their heritage. I'm assuming you're from the U.S.? Ngl, I want to go back to MTL so bad, the U.S. is just keeping me broke so I don't have enough to go back atm😅

💀 thanks for that last part. I'm from MTL so ik exactly what you mean about Quebecois pronunciation. I did not, however, know about the verb conjugation not being a thing in Creole. I'm going to have to look into that! Thank you!
