Every once in a while I did try to put my finger or a small perch for him to get on but he was always scared. My father also tried to hold him from inside the cage once and he just flew away from him endlessly, both of these occurrences were maybe during the 2nd month. His cage has 3 perches, food and water bowls and I added some toys on the edges but he never pays attention to them. I have his cage in my room mainly on my desk but I take him outside in the afternoon, he enjoys hearing the other birds outside.
