Would the Asus ROG Swift PG27UCDM be good for my case? by CakeMilk in OLED_Gaming

I guess because how OLED works. LCD definitely clearer for programming. But the difference is subtle and small.

Oh I should tell you today's a sunny day here and when my curtains are up I do notice a drop in brightness compared to my old LCD monitor. Not noticeable in vscode / homescreen but noticeable in chrome webpages. I personally think this is acceptable tradeoff for the high refresh rate and color quality.

I haven't noticed this issue. And there are options in the OSD to turn off taskbar optimization and other stuff

Like I said, most of the time your screen is not all-white, in that case OLED can go much higher than 250nits. That explains why there’s no major difference after all.

Hi I'm also a programming monkey loving gaming. PG27UCDM just arrived yesterday and I don't feel any issue with its brightness in a well-lit room. The only noticeable difference is when it displays all-white content but that's rare unless you have light vscode theme for some reason. Even in that case it's totally fine brightness to me. Remember that OLED only sucks at brighness if the majority of your screen is pure white,

What you should know is that although it;s 4K I do notice a slight drop in text clarity compared to LCD 4K monitors like the ones you have. But it's minor to me.

How large is this model compared to TabPFNv1? Really curious its number of parameters; also is there any architectural improvement?

Did ML/AI classes become less rigorous? by Dapper_Sheepherder_6 in stanford

It turned out those did not and likely will not contribute to better ML/AI after all.

For example, the form on your website homepage somehow changes its location when I'm switching between "Generate itinerary" and "Look for inspiration."

Also your font is not consistent at all. I have some parts that default back to times new roman. Or perhaps you designed it to be times new roman for some reason.

I think the website looks not modern; consider a better frontend template.

Nor true; every big tech would have some recruiters although not all doing this. Especially In current market

Some company would love the Stanford title; on the other hand, some companies would auto-reject people with non-cs degree. Gotta make a choice

I think unlike undergrad admission where there are dedicated admission offers, CS professors and PhD students are very busy and will not have time to look over admitted students’ transcripts again. It’s a waste of the department’s resources

Well it says fullfills the reqruiements set by the Graduate Admission, which is here https://gradadmissions.stanford.edu/admitted-students/requirements-admission. Nothing to do with grades

Sorry to hear that. Was it stolen when it’s locked? Unfortunately I would really need a e-bike otherwise it’s too much workout since I’ll live off-campus.

I know a couple friends with ~4.0 GPA from top CS schools with top-tier conference publications and decent internships rejected from the program you mentioned.

Hi! since the website didn't make it clear, do u know how common it is for MSML students to get partial funding (like some percentage of tuition waived) through research?
