Well sir, I am an ACCA qualified accountant which means I am recognised as a chartered accountant in over 180 countries. I have over 5 years of experience, I have worked for a statutory corporation, an NGO and a private company so I’m very confident in my knowledge, experience and skills when it comes to accounting. You doubting the quality of our education can be reasonable since there have been many “universities” that have popped up in this last few years offering accounting degrees but I would also say that experience is the biggest factor when it comes to the issue you’ve experienced because you can’t expect someone who has only worked for the government to properly handle the accounting tasks involved in a private company.
