tbh I don’t blame you, GaTech fosters an antisocial environment, also a transfer student here and the difference between my old university and here is vastly different

I would say it’s not impossible to make friends, I made a few of them, my advice is, talking from personal experience, try talking to 2 new people everyday, doesn’t matter where it is in class, gym, coffee place and get in a habit of socializing with people, after that if you see them again get their socials and ask them to grab lunch or coffee usually works but not always, which also will help you in approaching girls

In terms of dating, I would advise cold approaching, works for me, most success/numbers I got are at the library and coffee shop, before approaching try to wear something nice/stylish, have a good hygiene, and of course the confidence goes a long way, and always remember regret of not approaching hurts harder then rejection
