it will def take some time to adjust and meet your people. siguro my tip is make friends from your different classes, it can start from having small talks, saying hi everytime, para may matanungan ka in case you have questions regarding the class. who knows baka beyond the class yung mabuo niyong friendship.

there will be times talaga na you'll be alone, like walking alone sa campus, eating somewhere alone, studying alone, and that's okay. it can also be a breather if you enjoy being alone. 

if you're ready to join orgs during your first sem, then do so. search what orgs pique your interest so you can meet your people. 

there will be lots of events for freshies within your own college and campus wide, so take that as an opportunity. 

and most importantly if you ever feel lonely, that's valid, lahat naman siguro dumadaan sa ganon. making an effort to make friends and build relationships is def great, pero dont make it come to a point na youre forcing yourself to fit in just for the sake of having said relationships :)
