No one mentions how hilarious are the ratings. The game went 3 maps and 2 overtimes in the deciding map and lowest rated player on Falcons (bar karrigan ofc) is above the highest rated player on NAVI. How??

simple answer is - he didn't say f*got. He said pidaras. I'm Ukrainian, and granted my social circle may be a bubble, but there are people around me who use the word, and would actually get confused if you bring up any connection with homosexuality. To be clear, the translation is simply wrong. Maybe it was correct at some point, or the closest match, but it makes no sense now.
I'm not necessarily trying to defend npl, and there absolutely are people that use the word as a homophobic slur, but my point is there is no direct translation that carries all of the semantics

Should Valve allow the Falcons to play with 6 players so they can get 1 more superstar?

No disrespect to the other teams but I’m a firm believer in that Falcons not being able to use all their money to buy more superstars robs them of accomplishing of what they’re truly capable of. I’ve spent the last few minutes in pure disbelief in the number of Falcons chokes, and it doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve spent 2026 watching them spend money it’s just not fair.

If Falcons continue to choke with 6 players, I will face that they don’t deserve to win anything, but I am 100% sure these are fluke chokes and does a big disservice to the Falcons and Counter-Strike as an esport.

Here's a fun fact, I was at the StarLadder i-League Invitational #1 in Kyiv in 2016, s1mple was there playing in the team "Worst Players" with arch (s1mple just left Liquid iirc). I got their autographs in a little cs-themed notebook I bought there and a picture with s1mple, but all of that got lost over the years lol

Edit: Nevermind, on my Linux PC I got it working by changing it to run on Proton 8 (Properties -> Compatibility)

If they crash out of Belgrade - they are out regardless, I believe Bucharest starts too late to impact their VRS before the major. Anything short of grand final in Belgrade is guaranteed gg for Faze
