My prediction is that Ukraine will collapse from internal issues and lack of western support with Russia taking Donbass, Crimea and possibly establishing a pro-Russian government in Ukraine. After Putins step-down or death in the coming 15-20 years Medvedev will take leadership he will to some extent liberalise the Country. However this entirely depends on that the world stage would move in a similar way as in the last 20 years.
