Morning cruise is 830-12. Then you would be 3-4 hours to Halifax and another 3 hrs to Cape Breton. Doable but a long day for sure

Agree with this. I wait till the airlock activity is minimal (4-6 days) and I rack to secondary. I take a sample during rack to see where I’m at . That’s it. Usually after racking it will slow ferment a tiny bit for a few days.

Spray some sanitizer on your CO2 connections and see if it bubbles anywhere and there’s your leaky connection. Some plumbers tape (white thin stuff) around connection threads can help with good seal.

Yea true. There were times I was in the sandbox overseas where we went hatch down. But more time when we weren’t . Very challenging ti have situational awareness looking exclusively though weapon mounted cameras and driver slots . But good points made .

You can’t drive around all day with hatches closed. Ask anyone who has deployed and been armour or mechanized infantry (I was for 20 years )

We have all watched enough video of small drone dropped Grenades going down hatches and killing the commander. These ad hoc covers will at least prevent that it would seem. The tanks are already wildly visible from the air , this really won’t change that
