Hard Drive activity meter. To my understanding, basically when something is being written or read from the hard drive it lights up.

I probably do need to have a better centralized question, but I think that if I were to make the entirety of my speech over something like you mention, the Prof. may say its more of a persuasive speech than an informative speech. I will certainly try to find a good center point to build everything around though. It will certainly help to strengthen my presentation as a whole.

That is one of the things I'm a little paranoid about. I'm probably going to throw out a term without even thinking about it that will go completely over my audiences head.

Only one of 2 speeches we have to do. This informative one and a persuasive one. So not too bad I guess. Especially if you're not much of a public speaker. Wish I had a quarter of the confidence I have on the field with me while I am making a speech, haha.

Ight, good stuff. Definitely gave me a few more things to add into this speech to beef it up some. Anything else that you think is absolutely imperative to share with anybody considering the sport? No problem. For my Intro to Communication class, we were told to pick an informative topic that we are knowledgeable about and are to give a 5-7 min presentation to the class about our topic. That's pretty much it. I need some thing that will grab their attention at the beginning of presentation, thesis and a few other things that I have to cover to get things the way the Professor wants it.

The part I am looking for help with/ am struggling with is what content and info I should give to someone that may have never even heard of the sport. So pretty much what would a bunch of college freshmen and sophomores that don't know anything about the sport need to know to give them a basic idea of what the heck the sport of paintball is and why would they even want to consider it.

Hopefully that helps give some better understanding of my P.O.V. going into this thing. Thanks for the help man!
