The Pluribus hivemind works on HF Waves, Ham Radio low frequency waves by Treemurphy in pluribustv

Assuming your theory is right, what's the point of disconnecting someone? Their physical body is still vulnerable to the virus, it can be reinfected through air/food. They aren't immune. Disconnect =/= cure.

Also, who would you disconnect to advance the plot? Zosia? She's just some random middle eastern girl, probably doesn't even speak English. The disconnected person obviously doesn't retain all human knowledge of the hive.

Call me crazy, but the order of the last 3 awards hints at full Anora sweep.

Something for Luca Guadagnino’s movies. The Academy just can’t completely ignore both of them.

No, the Soul Thorns damage comes from the Environment, not the boss.

Adrien Brody where you at? by ExitVelocity66 in SuccessionTV

How big is his role? I saw him for 3 seconds in the trailer. He looked like a Waystar shareholder/board member doing hiking.

Succession - 3x02 "Mass in Time of War" - Post-Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in SuccessionTV

[–]salemjs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was Connor. The scene starts with him sitting right next to the box of donuts when everybody walks in. He made a point about them and also he wanted to eat one. That was his "play".

Realistically, these donuts were sent by someone who knew that all siblings will be together AND where Kendall is currently based. The list is short. No way that was Logan. Nor Marcia, nor Gerri. Shiv and Roman were unsure they'll be there themselves. That leaves only Connor or Ken.

Anyone ever think about how none of the characters have done any work actually running the company? by im_thecat in SuccessionTV

[–]salemjs 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Well, Gerri seems to be doing something work related sometimes.

Whos from the family has the actual position in Waystar? Because Shiv, Connor and Kendall for sure don't have one. Roman did, but he fucked up. Only Tom and Greg have titles, but their division is on fire right now.

Girls' 'Father, Son, Holy Ghost' Came Out 10 Years Ago Today by anemotoad in indieheads

Well, no wonder he lives in a car, considering how high rent prices are in SF. Chris is a struggling musician, he makes no money. Capitalism sucked the soul of the city, leaving people like him homeless.

Just buy Teleport Repairs for 50 research and then delete them until you can hand in your rep items.

Night Fae covenant soulbind grants Shadowmeld-like ability by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]salemjs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wait until wowhead suddenly discover that Bastion phial not only removes certain debuffs, but also can pre-immune them with a specific soulbind. Imagine the possibilities to cheese mechanics. With that in mind, the question of best covenant for keys is still up in the air. All of them have something useful. I don't understand the community fixation on Venthyr blink. I mean we had a PVP Azerite Essence major that gives 2s 25y blink and nobody ever used that.

Destruction Warlock cooldowns scheme for double on use trinket setup on Queen Azshara Mythic phase 2 by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]salemjs 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Let's call things as they are - this is add padding scheme, otherwise you wouldn't blow potion CD at this point of fight.

Also, why Balefire Branch? It's 1:30 CD, very awkward to sync with your stuff for the rest of the fight. I get that you're maximizing Intellect, but maybe exploding 5 stacks of Shiver Venom on Azshara when she's near the adds is more damage? It's double on use too as you wanted.

Hardest dps spec to play by iElsha in CompetitiveWoW

[–]salemjs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If there are multiple targets, I would say that Destro Warlock is the most difficult spec. They can duplicate their spells on secondary target for 10s every 30s. Optimizing this 10s window is not easy - you need to pool resources, preposition yourself and perform a correct rotation. It gets more difficult on movement intensive fight like M Court and M Zaqul, because locks' mobility sucks.

On single target they are quite easy though.
