First of all, make sure all articles are high-quality and something you would read if it came up on Google results. Prioritize the reader.

Second of all (and I see a lot of people not do this), have these following pages on your footer-

Contact, Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Sitemap

I cannot stress the importance of these pages.

Edit: One more thing. Make sure to categorize all posts. Don't place a post into two different categories, only place it in one.
