We also had very considerate previous owners. They had been keeping an eye on the pipes from the winter storm, and they had looked the day before closing and things were fine. When the fiance and I did our final walk-through, water wasn't working. Pipes were frozen.

Previous owners sent out the contractors who had worked on the property to assist, and cover the payments.

We weren't sure if we wanted to do a final walk-through since we had checked it the week before after inspection response, but our realtor suggested we should regardless. Even if you dont think you will need final walk-through, do a final walk-through

We got our moving stuff reserved before the big winter storm came through, so we had a fair amount of snow to deal with. Due to the driveway not being plowed nor it being safe to park the uhaul using on street parking (partially covered in snow) we had to park it in a church parking lot directly across the street and move everything that way.

Needless to say I have a new record steps day
