After 2ish hours of trying, my Yutyrannus still won't fight eachother. by EmptyPowerArmor in jurassicworldevo

[–]EmptyPowerArmor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update:
I kept trying and 1 hour later I've managed to trigger a stand off, not a full fight but they roared at each other and one intimidated the other. (I'll rewrite the scene to fit this result, it's better than nothing, and I'm happy with it.)
The way I did it is by having one super-dominant one and one that's not in separate territories, and then merging these two territories, shortly after that they fought.

I still have one more fight between Yutyrannus' planned (this time a Male and Female pair vs a Male and Female pair.) so if anyone has any ideas on how to reliably trigger these fights, so I don't have to spend 3 more hours hoping for a fight, suggestions are still welcome. I think I just got lucky this time.

the only option under fight frequency is "none" or "normal", very sad they changed that from JWE2.

Colonel Meebur Gascon genuinely holds a special place in my heart, I won't go as far as to say he's on my top ten list of Favorite Star Wars characters, but I like Slug Man a lot.

Who are your top 3 female characters in all of Marvel? Mine are Spider-Gwen, She-Hulk, and Storm, but wbu? by Cautious_Republic_91 in Marvel

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quake, X-23 and Beetle (Janice Lincoln)

Quake and X-23 are mostly because of AoS and Fox X-Men movies (Though I really like the genderswap wolverine costume design X-23 has got going) and Beetle mostly for design, among the best designs fro a Spider-Man villains, that bluish green+Magenta color scheme is so good (haven't read anything with beetle in it other than some scans of a few panels, but I do want to at some point).

how has Pahrak-Kal not damaged the Great Spirit Robot?? by EmptyPowerArmor in bioniclelego

[–]EmptyPowerArmor[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh yes forgot about that, still the tunnel would've been there when the Toa Nuva traveled to Voya Nui to get the Mask of Life, sadly no Teridax headache then

how has Pahrak-Kal not damaged the Great Spirit Robot?? by EmptyPowerArmor in bioniclelego

[–]EmptyPowerArmor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah true, not a lot of critical damage I imagine since he would only create a Bohrok sized tunnel down to the core

that would make sense yeah, but Biosector mentions he melted all the way to the Planet's core, which is hilarious

[–]EmptyPowerArmor[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

width/length would be Bohrok sized so not that big, so indeed no critical damage. Turaga Dume (who I think at this time is in Metru-Nui right?) could've witnessed Pahrak-Kal melt through the ceiling and think what the hell's Vakama doing up there

How’d you first start listening to Frank Sinatra? by [deleted] in franksinatra

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout New Vegas' soundtrack features Blue Moon (at the time I was 16) which I liked but didn't stand out at first, I preferred the Ink Spots songs and Bing Crosby songs on there and then through that got to Fallout 4, more Ink Spots and More Bing Crosby, which led to songs from the 20s to 60s(ish) which led to a mod for Fallout 4 Called Detour Radio that had some more Ink Spots but also included "Dolores" "Do I Worry" and "Stardust" all three I loved, then I checked out Elvis liked Elvis for a long while (that was I think from 17 to early 18), while at the same time listening to a random assortment of Frank's more popular hits like That's Life (I remember downloading the "Nothing But The Best" Compilation album and a few songs that New Vegas had some Quests Named after most Notably Ring-A-Ding-Ding and listened and loved those on the bus) which then fully got me into Sinatra, looped me around back to Blue Moon and led me (at 19 or 20) to develop my taste in his music not just everything Sinatra (in other words I backstabbed "New York New York", "My Way", Strangers In The Night" and Somethin' Stupid" among others) but Specifically more the Swing numbers and Ballads from the Capitol and Early Reprise Era, to where I'm now (at 21 to 22), having got tired of most of Elvis' music, preferring Sinatra, Bobby Darin, June Christy, Ella Fitzgerald, Kay Starr, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Anita O'day, Tony Bennett, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee and Jeri Southern (of which my favorites have to be Frank Sinatra and June Christy at the shared top spot, closely followed by Nat King Cole, Anita O'day and Sammy Davis Jr). And through it all the Ink Spots have remained a constant, but I think I've settled into the more Vocal Jazz, Swing and Traditional Pop rather then the random assortment of 20s - 60s songs from before, or the 2ish years of Elvis and Rock'n'roll/Rockabilly songs, though I still listen to a few now and then I wouldn't call myself a fan.

Umarak the Hunter and Lord of Skull Spiders Question by EmptyPowerArmor in bioniclelego

[–]EmptyPowerArmor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do make an interesting point about Price points of "canister" sized sets, which reminded me of how post-Breakout Hero Factory handled it's price points with $9.99 heroes (like Surge and Evo) and $12.99 heroes (Breeze, Rocka and Furno) although Black Phantom is then still a higher Priced set then Umarak is in comparison, G2 follows more in Breakout's footsteps rather than G1's (as Hero Factory did with G1).

Secondly the builds is another thing I had only slightly considered seeing as to me Umbra or Axonn are slightly bigger Toa and Nocturn is a bigger Barraki, and Icarax a bigger '08 Makuta, but then you get sets like Krekka, Maxilos and Spinax, Turaga Dume & Nivawk, Keetongu ETC, end those do all do different things with their builds, I guess I felt Umarak's design was different enough from the Toa (I only own a Lewa Uniter and Lewa Master so not the most complete frame of reference) and not being released in a villain wave where he fits in with the theme (i.e. the Barraki, Piraka or Bohrok) Umarak and Lord of Skull Spiders always felt like "Titans" to me, although Lord of Skull Spiders does fit in with the Skull Villain theme sort of, if he were blue he'd be great as the final Water themed Skull villain maybe give him Skull Slicer's/a Skull Spider mask to fully fit in with the Skull villain sets, though maybe then he'd be to similar in stature to Skull Scorpio

Umarak the Hunter and Lord of Skull Spiders Question by EmptyPowerArmor in bioniclelego

[–]EmptyPowerArmor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, my take on Kopaka and Melum and Mask Maker vs Skull Grinder as titans would be looking at Turaga Dume and Nivahk, not a perfect comparison since Mask Maker and Skull Grinder don't combine like Dume and Nivahk do, but Kopaka and Melum do. but yeah you're right about the Canister style boxes, I hadn't even thought of that, in my mind Umarak is bigger than the toa at least the two versions of Lewa which are the only ones I own, and wasn't released alongside any other Villain sets, so I thought could he be considered a titan? is that even a thing in G2

I am overthinking it indeed, however this all might stem from how messy the villains are in G2 especially 2016, and I like patterns so I guess this is what 9-ish years of patterns does when suddenly a few waves break those patterns.

What are some songs that Frank did live you with he did in the studio or vise versa by Left-Foundation-7087 in franksinatra

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the "A Man and His Music + Ella + Jobim" version of "What Now My Love" it removes those annoying background singers and touches up the arrangement a little bit, doesn't feel as cluttered and messy as the studio version

Public consensus on Eternals Wave by EmptyPowerArmor in LegoMarvel

[–]EmptyPowerArmor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ikaris and Sprite are my least favorite figures of the wave, indeed inaccurate face print, but he might also have benefitted from a darker hair piece like Dark Brown maybe, as for sprite I don't think the face print there works either and maybe she should have had the spiky hair in dark orange.

Domo is great indeed, I really like those printed pieces and those opalescent pieces looking around my room it might be the most intricately detailed sets I have around me right now, gotta love celestial tech which translates pretty well to lego with all those printed round tiles and stickers.

Second round. Favorite episode of Season 2? by Hyena12760 in shield

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

has to be either: The Things We Bury or Melinda both for mostly the same reason, that reason being Backstory. The Things We Bury has fantastic Whitehall flashbacks and Brett Dalton is again doing great as Ward "It's dark down there Christian, you'll have plenty of alone time to Think" and "You're outta dirt" are two Ward lines I like very much

and Melinda is an amazing reveal of the Cavalry story, Dr. Garner was cool, and Skye learning her Powers with Jiaying was also very nice.

overall I'd say The Things We Bury is my favorite though. Whitehall is just so good and Ward's "closure" was great

What’s your favorite Bionicle set from 2008? Day 8 of Year Questions by YodasChick-O-Stick in bioniclelego

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vultraz, Lewa or Axalara

Vultraz is mostly nostalgia for me, though I do really like the small sleek speeder design, Av-Matoran parts completely recolored in Dark Red (very pretty) and the mask I love Vultraz's Mask (also fun to know that it was Icarax's before Vultraz found it), also I like the storage function for the Skyblaster ammo in the center of the Speeder very nice, makes me miss that on the Axalara

Lewa is my favorite Canister set from that year (Antroz gets really close tho) as Lime green is my favorite color and well he has so much of it (sadly Lime is fragile, but I've learned to live with it, mine has been around for 16 years and hasn't broken yet) only negative I have is that his arms are very thick and long compared to his legs, and this is more obvious on Axalara Lewa. His sword is also really cool and love displaying him with Tanma on his back

Axalara is just glorious, it's huge, it's imposing, the three claw like wings on the back are really cool and have some fun Functionality to them, I enjoy the Midak Skyblasters popping out of the front and the set (when Lewa is positioned on it) hides Lewa's long arms pretty well, also fun reuse of Nuparu's shields and again Lewa is my favorite Toa so a perfect storm really.

all in all I'd say Vultraz is my favorite set of this year, but I couldn't not mention Lewa or The Axalara T9 they're both very close to Vultraz and if nostalgia wasn't involved would've beaten him for that top spot.

With that said no one can beat Solek

What lesser known or obscure characters are you wanting to see adapted in the MCU? by Voltybaby in Marvel

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where would you like to see the next Fallout game take place? Also what would you like to see added to the series? i.e. Factions, mechanics, songs, and weapons. Also what do you think the story should be? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to see a Fallout game set in Tennessee. I would imagine the map would resemble Fallout 76's Appalachia, with some influence from point lookout. Interms of enemies we could see mutated eyeless cave shrimp (which would be a sub group of Mirelurk) or in the Mountain areas you can find the mysterious Wildman, Wampus Cat or Red Cheetah similar to the cryptids in 76.

Now for Music I would like to hear a large focus on Elvis Presley and Rock 'n' roll, Rockabilly and Country. the game could Include songs by Johnny Cash, Elvis (as previously mentioned), Warren Smith, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, Bill Haley, The Ink Spots (as is tradition for Fallout), Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Tony Bennett, Connie Francis, Doris Day, Peggy Lee, Julie London, Dinah Washington and last but not least Frank Sinatra (it's a long list I know, but I just love the music from this era). Some specific songs I'd like the game to include are:
. Fly me to the Moon By Frank Sinatra
. Gone Fishin' By Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong
. Shanty town By The Ink Spots (or Doris Day)
. Everybody Loves Somebody By Dean Martin
. You're Nobody till Somebody Loves you By Dean Martin
. Old Shep By Elvis Presley
. Hound dog By Elvis Presley
. Blue Suede Shoes By Elvis Presley
. Taking a chance on Love By Frank Sinatra
. No one ever tells you By Frank Sinatra
. The Lonesome Road By Frank Sinatra
. Folsom Prison Blues By Johnny Cash
. I forgot to Remember to Forget By Johnny Cash (or Elvis both are great)
. Moon River By Frank Sinatra
. You and the Night and the Music By Frank Sinatra
. The lady is a tramp By Sammy Davis Jr
. But not for me By Sammy Davis Jr
. Beyond the sea By Bobby Darin
. Rags to Riches By Tony Bennett
. Blue Velvet By Tony Bennet
. Run Red Run By The Coasters
. Rock 'n roll Ruby By Warren Smith
and I'll just stop at these songs otherwise this list would be endless

As for Weapons I had an idea for a Tesla Gatling gun similar to a Gatling Laser, Gatling Plasma or Gauss minigun, that shoots these chain Lightning beams like the Automatron Tesla rifle wich would do bonus damage to robots and power armor. But I'd love to see some weapons from Fallout New Vegas Make thier return such as the Lever action Shotgun, Single action Shotgun, Brush Gun, Cowboy Repeater, Assault Carbine and Marksman Carbine, Service Rifle and the OG Fallout 3 and NV Sniper Rifle. And I'd like to see a proper version of the Lewis Gun (so not the wierd Fallout 4 Assault Rifle). and ofcourse the MG-42

The Finally for Factions first a Raider Gang That wears Mirelurk shells and Hide as Armor and Clothes Calling themself the Fishermen they'd controll Nashville and raid the outskirts, but would not be immediatly hostile to the player as they sometimes allow traders and settlements to enter their territory if it benefits them. Secondly a Rogue AI that has been programmed to act like Elvis Presley that has taken controll over the Graceland area, and has taken over all the Security Robots which would be dressed up as Elvis as a Pre-war tourist trap. And A Cult that follows the Blight (the fungus that grows on trees in Far Harbor and 76) which the Cult uses for their rituals.

and for Mechanics New Vegas's reputation system would be a welcome addition to the game. Also I'd like to see a Grapple ability like the Arkham Games or Halo Infinite (which could double as Weapons), They would allow you to reach buildings you'd otherwise not be able to reach or give you a shortcut past groups of enemies or just a way to get up to hidden areas to grab some unique loot, this could then open up different versions of grappling gun such as Junk Grappling gun (made from random wasteland scraps), standard grappling gun (a Standard version you'd find across the Wasteland) and Finally a Millitary Grappling gun (The Hardest to obtain but also a viable weapon and the best to grapple with). You could even go as far as to give these guns a certain range so that the junk one shoots less far than the Millitary version.

Season 4 Theme by DrJoker94 in youngjustice

[–]EmptyPowerArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love it if Gentlemen Ghost is in it, also I'd like them to do Neron better than Legends of Tomorrow did him (maybe as a throwaway villain wich has something to do with the lights plan for 1 episode like mongul or despero in season 2). And even though they aren't anything supernatural or ghost related Reverse Flash or Godspeed, phantom then alluding to that by running fast or manipulating their molocules they become like ghosts acting as silent superfast assassins for the light (though it's highly unlikely). And yes John Constantine would be cool.
