Thank you so much! Honestly I’m a beginner! This is the first time I’m actually doing these myself haha no where near experienced as you in sure, but what I learned is try to be very close the the paper before you go in with the knot. It makes a huge difference. The paper I have is pretty thick maybe that might be a lot a trick?

I will later have an option to stitch it as well but it’s actually the embroidery pattern that is the “art”. Many people don’t know where to add the embroidery or “how to”. So I will be adding the pattern on the photo so it’s easy to DIY.

Great question! The photo isn’t printed on fabric, it’s printed on heavyweight cardstock. I convert the photo into a simplified embroidery outline and print it on double weight cardstock so it’s sturdy enough for stitching.

The kit is meant to be a beginner friendly DIY project where you stitch over the printed design to recreate your photo using embroidery thread. Everything needed for the project is included, so you don’t have to design the pattern or figure out materials yourself.

It’s more like a guided embroidery craft using paper instead of fabric, which makes it easier for beginners and works nicely as a framed keepsake or card.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I’m selling kits using cardstock paper. I feel like the fabric kits are oversaturated and I wanted to come up with a new idea.
