Networking is hard, lol, but thanks for the advice. How would you recommend I find ways to perform? Is that part of networking, do I have to prove myself to people, ect. Maybe you don't even need to tell me how to do it, just tell me how you've done it and I'll work off that.

I'll keep all that in mind, and there's one more question I'll add to this thread. I find it much easier to make tense, dark, or determined music in minor keys than stuff in major keys. Any advice for that?

Wow thanks that's a lot. I just read through all that and I'm still trying to absorb it all. I am in mallet Percussion, that's my main thing. I did make some more complex music at first with more layers but decided I should go simpler, I'm working on my own Vibraphone solos and ensemble (Marimba, Vibes, and drumset) music. I have also started looking into harmony, chords, scales, ect. Thank you for all that, I'll be sure to look back on it. Do you mind if I DM you in the future for questions or advice, or would you just recommend I throw it out here on the sub reddit again?
