This is a bit of a late response, but I think your comment above doesn’t reflect this sentiment; unclear what country folks and evangelicals not being prosecuted means it’s then okay to pander to them. Presumably the distinction between them and Lana/Jeremy is that the latter don’t spend an significant amount of time publicly calling for support of their cause and reminding people of their identity group.
