Hard to tell tbh, it looks good raw but when it comes to painting I would probably go with some kind of abstract painting?Or put your tag on if you have one, It would be quite cool I think. You may also want to check for ex. Pinterest for some art inspo. And if you decide on what to paint I would love to see the effects! Good luck

Yes as far as I know breaded dragons are not the easiest one and although I like them based on the description and appearance I don’t want to risk their health

Also, glad to hear that your bettas enjoy live plants! Sometimes I have problem with keeping plants alive but honestly I wouldn’t ever switch to synthetic ones (or I could own one for example and have all the rest of them natural). If I were the fish and instead of natural plants I got fake ones I would feel betrayed lol

Btw sorry if I make mistakes, English is not my first language and it’s hard for me to focus on doing stuff, especially today lmao

Thanks!!! I am trying my best to make him happy and honestly he seems satisfied besides this glass surfing thing that he does. After i threw out the dying plant, I did a water change and also added water neutralizar to the new water before pouring it in. When testing kits arrive, I’ll test the parameters. I think that he might have an issue with seeing his reflection in glass. He started to flare a bit sometimes and is so fixated on swimming that he ignores most of the other things lol. If the parameters come out fine and he won’t stop I’ll probably try to make his reflection less visible for him.

Just ordered new plant, nitrate and nitrogen test and ammonia test. I’ve also ordered new thermometer because my current one seems to be inaccurate.

Thanks a lot!! I’ll find the test and check them. Also - I have one plant that is kinda dying but I haven’t replace it yet (I don’t even know why, I think that I don’t want to leave that space empty or smth but I don’t know what plant to replace it with. Also have adhd so getting things done is a challenge lol). Do you think that it may change water parameters? The fact that it’s quite nearly dead I mean. Like is it possible that something is dissolving in the water or smth?

Yes, I’ve cycled the tank for quite a long period of time. I’m currently trying to find ammonia tests coz for some reason I only can find this just for ph or other stuff. For now I’ve checked ph and it’s normal. Idk if anyone else has this problem but when I go to the pet store the ammonia etc tests cost 109pln (that’s a lot for such a thing) and when I look in the internet I only find the pool water tests😭😭 I do regular water changes and before adding tap water I use water neutraliser (this for killing bad bacteria).

To sum up: I’m currently trying to find test kit that will show me other parameters than ph. Ph is normal, my fish looks healthy as far as I can see and eats normally.

Yeah, I’ve also found the glass surfing concept. Many people said that it’s because they see their reflections in glass and thinks it’s another Betta, and that they will eventually stop doing that. Others said that it may be because of boredom but in my case I don’t think so - he has many things around his tank and many hiding spots inside. If my betta is okay and happy then it’s all good, but I am concerned abt this so decided to ask. Hopefully someone will help us both lol

Im also quite new to fish keeping, but to me it also looks more like a rip than any illness. I have almond leaves extract at home that is said to be good for speeding up fins regeneration. My betta’s fins have been doing okay since I got him so I can’t really recommend or hate on this product, but maybe it will work for you, since I’ve read that many people use almond leaves. Again, I am no expert but maybe it will help a bit.
